Green Lake March (2026)

PROGRAM NOTE

“Dont be sad that it’s over, but be happy that it happened”

This was the final piece I had written in my time at Interlochen, as the final recital where this piece premiered approached I reflected on my time there and all the people I had met and befriended. Briefly I felt overcome with a somber feeling that I’d never see many of these people again, but a friend of mine had told me that I shouldn’t be sad that this was ending but I should celebrate that it happened.
