Racing Moments (2026)

PROGRAM NOTE

Racing Moments is a piece that paints a picture of moments in time that one quite can’t grasp before they’re gone 

When writing this piece I picture both good and bad moments in my life that had just raced past me, not quite giving me enough time to appreciate or even process them. The beginning of the piece describes a fast unpredictable chase but then turns into a delicate lyrical section that feels like it’s just slipping away, almost like a happy memory that happened way too fast to even process in the moment.
